Snazzy Pro on Mac and iPad: what works where

8 October 2026

Snazzy Pro started on the Mac, where it does everything: plans your talk, builds the slides, records you and takes you live. The iPhone and iPad app started as its remote. Here's what works where today, and where the iPad is heading.

The iPad today: your remote and teleprompter

Pair your iPad with your Mac by scanning a code. Then start, pause and stop recording, change slides, read your speaker notes in large type, and ask the assistant to do things on your Mac, all from across the room. It talks only to your own Mac, encrypted, over your Wi-Fi.

Where the iPad is heading: a full studio

Most of Snazzy Pro is already built to run on iPad as well as Mac: the assistant, the slide builder, the live classroom, streaming and sharing. We're bringing them to the iPad in stages:

  1. Talk, build and present. The assistant, slide decks and prototypes, sample decks, and presenting with notes, on the iPad by itself.
  2. Teach and go live from the iPad. Run a live classroom or stream to YouTube straight from your iPad.
  3. Record on the iPad. Your iPad's screen and slides with its front camera as the inset. This is the biggest piece: the Mac's recorder uses tools only the Mac has, so the iPad gets its own, built on Apple's iPad screen recording.

One purchase covers both: the Mac and iPad apps share one App Store listing.

The Mac app is a free beta you can download today. The iPhone and iPad app will open as a public TestFlight beta before the App Store launch.
